I know I am about to loose several women right now; but know that I come to give what God gives me, and you can either gain knowledge and wisdom or you can reject it, either way it goes God word will not turn back void, and I will be the broken vessel that He can use...
Before I give you the word let me break it down to you; (get an understanding in everything) When God created the heaven and the earth He made man last...did you ever really wonder why God did that; I was speaking to someone the other day and God had given us the revelation that although no man knows the mind of God; I feel very strongly that He made man last so that "man" could not try and take credit for nothing God created.....if you go back to the beginning (GENESIS) God made the heavens, and the earth, the animals, everything before He made man so that God will get the glory out of His creation and not man. God has always been a God of order...even when He created man, God made man first I don't care how you read it and how you try to justify it, God made man first therefore man is over the woman....period (and for some who want to argue or debate that, know that God's word is not to be debated; it is what it is and that's TRUE) We wonder how come the men won't stand up; some of the reason, not all the reason but some of the reason is because of the woman by their side. When the older women try and teach the younger women about submission they look at you like you just cuss, because they have gotten a custom to doing what they want, but honey I come to tell you what most won't...if you don't STOP your complaining, and putting that man down, and trying to wear the pants in the house you are not going to be satisfied until you are alone.
1 Timothy 2:9-15
9) In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with braided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array
*Now here Paul is giving guidelines for the woman's place in public worship. Women are to carry themselves with modesty and discretion; women in general like to look good and feel good about themselves and most women dress for other women (knowing that women will appreciate their style, more than the average man), and Paul is not trying to discourage this rather, he is speaking against extravagant and over the top dressing (in the church) where you are taking the focus off of God and the people are looking at you more. Some of the young women (and some older women as well) do not want no one to tell them about their dressing; but women are not suppose to dress immodestly, so as to exploit their feminine charm, hindering their brothers from worship; nor are they to over do their dress, provoking their Christian sister to jealousy. I am speaking to the women of God that have taken on the call to follow Christ; the way we carry ourselves should say HOLY, and being holy does not mean looking poorly. There should be a sophistication yet humility a confidence yet meekness, a bold yet quietness within you.*
10) But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.
*"Let them dress themselves with that which is proper for women who profess, by their good works, reverence for God." For such women proper dress should conform to their Christians testimony and behavior. In other words don't be a hypocrite if you are going to to "talk the talk, then walk the walk". *
11) Let the woman learn in silence with all subjections
*In public worship services (in church) women are to learn in silence with all the fullest of subjection to church leadership; Paul is not saying that women do not have a voice in the church rather, he's given us wisdom on how to be submissive with church leadership and when we are home we can ask our husbands first(God is a God of order) (see a lot of women just said, : I ain't asking that brother nothing, because he doesn't know...know one thing God does not make mistakes and if God has given you that head you better believe God has given them the answer for us, so many of us just don't want to submit ourselves to our own husband to hear the answer. And for the women who do not have a husband or may feel that your husband is not in a place (yet) where he can give you the correct answer then I advise you to seek "godly counsel". *
12) But, I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence,
13) For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
14) And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.
* Paul is not saying a woman can not teach because in (Titus 2:4 it says we are to teach) I feel very strongly that Paul is saying we are not to try and be over our husband; and I completely agree...I believe their are many powerful women of God that have been called by God to help their husbands pastor churches, but I do not believe God ever intended for a woman to be a Bishop.... ( the qualifications for a bishop are in 1 Timothy 3:1-7, I have my own opinion like every one else, but how many know that God has the final answer...READ it for YOURSELF) God could have created the woman first or both simultaneously; but He did not, as it was always His intention for man to lead and woman to follow. (In GENESIS 3 Adam was not deceived, but Eve was deceived, now Adam did eat with her, but it was the woman who sinned first) See women know how we can get are husbands to do something that we want them to; but honey if it does not line up with what the word of God says, then I wouldn't do it, learn from Eve don't make the same mistake she did.*
15) Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.
*Although Eve fell and "in the transgression"; women can be spiritually saved from sin, provided they persevere in faith and love and holiness with chastity. The woman's primary ministry is that of her home...a lot of us just paused right there, how are we having ministry outside the home and the inside is tore up? How are you over there trying to help someone with their marriage and yours is barely holding on, how are you trying to be so busy in the church, that you forget your first assignment was to be your husband's help mate....I always say, "I will not go sweeping somebody else's porch until my own has been swept" (do not become a busybody in someone else's home, instead get busy in yours) Childbearing and the rearing of children who will become godly adults and leaders. "The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world"*
WOMEN STAY TEACHABLE; DO NOT EVER FEEL LIKE YOU HAVE ARRIVED AND YOU CAN'T LEARN.
"I will not compromise the word of God; for God I live and for God I die"
