James 3:8, 10

But the tongue can no man tame; it is unruly evil, full of deadly poison.

Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.

The person who who curses others cannot bless God. And here curse is not just swearing, but tearing down, back biting, etc. The cursing of people truly indicates what really lies in a person. The Webster dictionary defines cursing as: to bring evil upon, a prayer for evil or misfortune to befall on someone or something.

James 3:16

For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and evil work.

This is a warning from God, to examine yourself, and let your words be yes and no. There are certain things that once you have allowed it to flow off your tongue you can take it back. Repent now, for no man knows the hour or day of His return. God is sending a warning because He said, it's going on in the body of Christ....Remember there is always a warning before destruction....

Luke 12:2,3

For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.

Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.
