Have you ever wonder sometimes, how some people were on time with certain situations of your life, and you know they are not living the way Christ has called us to live, but yet they can prophesy to you and sometimes it's on point? I pondered this in my mind; causing me to second guess my walk with God. I knew there were doing opposite of what God was calling us to do, yet I would see them being blessed, prospering, and leading people; but then God took me to the Word:
MATTHEW 24:4-5
And Jesus answered and said unto them, "Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name saying , I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
MATTHEW 24:11
And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
I am learning that everybody that Pastors and preaches has not been necessary been called by God to do such; sometimes we appoint man because he/she entertains our flesh. This is why God says "watch and pray"; the same way God has His angels, the devils has his also, (when he was thrown out of heaven he took 1/3 of the angels with him: Revelation 12:4)
MATTHEW 24:24
For there shall arise false Christ, and false prophets, and shall show great signs, and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
2 THESSALONIANS 2:3
Let no man deceive you by any means
This is why the word says to: Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. ( 2 TIMOTHY 2:15)
We all have to carry our own cross, make sure that the cross you are carrying is yours, and make sure that you are following Christ. Seek God in all things, and fast and pray and allow yourself to be separated so that you can hear from heaven. God does not have a selective people that He speaks to, He speaks to those who are seeking His face and waiting to hear from heaven, and obeying His commandments. Now more than ever we need to get on our face and seek God's face, and get in position. Although no man knows the hour of His Jesus return, we do know that we are living in our last and evil days. And no man can fool God He knows all and sees all, and He knows who's really for Him.
2 TIMOTHY 2:19
Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, the Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
*Do not be dismayed that everyone you know (family, friends, spouses, children, etc.) is not going to take heed.....try and stand in the gap and ask God for mercy. The word of God says, my people are perishing by the lack of knowledge. Let me ask you a question...and do not answer to fast; the only reason I can say "yes" is because I am doing it as we speak. Can you stand, even if you have to stand alone, will you stand until God speaks to you and tells you where to go, can you stand if God takes everything away from you so that you can solely depend on Him? Can you stand and say: "For God I live and for God I die"*
