John 10: 4-5
And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice
And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him:for they know not the voice of strangers.
*How many of us really know the voice of God? You do realize there are three voices that try and speak to you: the voice of God, your voice, and then the devil's voice. So many Christians "say" they have discerning spirits, but do you really? How many of us say we hear from God, and still disobey the command He has put out. It's sad to say, but we will run and go get advice from a "good friend" before we go to God our self. When are we going to really give 110% in this walk with Christ? Jesus said, "watch and pray" for a reason... If you are not 100% sure you are hearing from God, I would strongly encourage you to seek God's face and not man, we are living in our last and evil days, and everybody has a word, everybody is given their own interpretation of what they feel God is saying, but we all have a responsibility to seek God for ourselves, and WAIT patiently until we hear from God, not man. We as Christians have to stop being tossed to and fro, where we are so desperate for a word that we don't care who it comes from. Get on your face and seek God's face, and wait until He answers you, and He may not answer you when you want to, but remember God created you, He knows when and what to give His people. When we gave our life to God, He gave us the Comforter and Power....start using it......God speaks to His sheep's. If God has not given you an answer from a prayer, don't go and try and get and answer from someone else, just because they have a title....isn't that what we tell our children not to do?, they ask us if they can go to the mall, and we don't give them an answer because we are thinking about it, and they become inpatient that they go and ask the other parent....and had they just waited they don't know what the answer would have been. The same with saints we are so impatient that we don't take the time to wait for God to give us an answer. Some of us have the nerves to try and rush God, about a blessing we are asking for, and we can't even be obedient to His Commandments....Think about it!!!!
REVELATION 3:20-22
Behold I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, ans am sat down with my Father in his throne.
He that hath an ear let him ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches
