To appraise something is to place a value on; to judge the worth of something.
Now don't we as "Christians" do this to each other? We all have a story to be told, but in going through some of us almost lost are minds. At least that's what Satan tries to do...he comes to the mind because that is his battlefield... he thinks, if he can make you think it eventually you will do it. So sometimes you hear someone tell the same testimony over, or they may dance like David dance....and there we go...."look at her/him, does it really take all that.....if I hear this testimony one more time". Who put any of us in charge to voice our opinion about how someone should praise God?
To praise is to exalt, to worship, to express warm admiration to God
(if we focused more on entering into the place of worship with God, and less on how someone else is worshiping....my, my what a time in God we would have)
PSALM 116:3,6
The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow
The Lord perseveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me
The same way we want God and others to have compassion for us when we go through, is the same way we should have compassion for others. We as the body of Christ are to build, not tear down. How many of us really are adding to the kingdom, opposed to taking away. That the a man seweth, Jesus said, "he shall also reap".
PSALM 99:3
Let them praise thy great and terrible name; for it is holy.
PSALM 100:2
Serve the Lord with gladness: come before His presence with singing
God said, "if we would focus more on Him than on others, we to would experience the place of Praise and true worship"
