Has there ever been a time in your life where you wanted to look back?
When God has truly delivered you, don't allow your flesh to become weak and look back. Often times we think there's no harm in looking back, but there is; we say we just want to look back one last time, and sometimes that's exactly what it is, the last time. Lot's wife couldn't't resist the temptation and she looked back one last time and became a pillar of salt.
Genesis 19: 17, 26
And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed.
But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.

I don't know about you, but I refuse to live my life looking back. The past is called the past for a reason. Often times we look back because we feel we can do something different about the past, but the past is the past move forward. If you had a past that was full of pain and hurt, why do you want to go back and revisit that place? This is how the enemy tricks us. When God tells you not to look back, don't look back. Although you don't literally turn into a pillar of salt, you feel liker you are in cement and you can not move forward. The enemy tries to make you think in your mind that if you go back you can do something different. But you can't, all you can do is live each day to it's fullest and put God in the center of your life, allow Him to be the foundation that you build your life on from here on out. The devil wants us to look back because he enjoys seeing us suffer. I encourage anyone reading this right now when God tells you to move, move and when He tells you not to look back do not look back.
