My my my isn't it amazing how we can discern what's wrong with everyone else and never discern what's wrong with ourselves? Be careful in judging Gods people....you don't know what God is doing in that person.....
The Webster dictionary defines discern to perceive with the eyes or intellect; to recognize or comprehend mentally; * "children of God" should discern in the natural as well as the spirit. *
What happened to having compassion and patience with our brothers and sisters of the cloth....we all fall short of Gods glory....and we all have not always been saved.....let me rephrase that to the ones who say I've been saved since I was 2....but how long have you been in an intimate relationship with Christ? Amen put down religious with the church and pick up relationship with the Father. {someone can preach that one too....}
Romans 3:23
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
*Now don't get me wrong the Bible clearly states in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 the "unrighteous" shall not inherit the kingdom of God. Fornicators: illicit sexual intercourse; Idolaters: false gods; Adulterers: marital infidelity; Effeminate: unmanly; Abusers of themselves with mankind: copulation with a member of the same sex; Thieves: one who steals; Covetous: eagerly desirous; Drunkards: an intoxicated person; Revilers: to speak with abusive language; Extortioners: to obtain money or information by coercion; this sin will not enter into the kingdom of God....but keep reading....
1 Corinthians 6:11
And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and the Spirit of our God.
And if I may...... some were such of you and some are still some of you..... {let's keep it real, true deliverance won't come until you do}
Examine yourself before you examine others. That same compassion and mercy you need and want from God; show it to others. Just because we discern what's wrong with someone does not mean we are to judge it....that's where prayer comes in...do not try and correct someone if you yourself are doing that same thing....by loving kindness has He drawn thee.....and this is how we should draw others...........
*I have made it up in my mind that every opportunity God gives me to speak to His people I will & I will only speak that in which will edify your soul......*
