1 Peter 3:8-12
Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:
Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.
For HE THAT WILL LOVE LIFE, AND SEE GOOD DAYS, LET HIM REFRAIN HIS TONGUE FROM EVIL, AND HIS LIPS THAT THEY SPEAK NO GUILE:
LET HIM ESCHEW EVIL, AND DO Good; LET HIM SEEK PEACE AND ENSUE IT.
FOR THE EYES OF THE LORD ARE OVER THE RIGHTEOUS, AND HIS EARS ARE OPEN UNTO THEIR PRAYERS: BUT THE FACE OF THE LORD IS AGAINST THEM THAT DO EVIL.
My, my, my......God sits up high and looks down low, and all of us have to give an account of what we allow to come out of our mouth.......the tongue no man can tame it but God.........
1 PETER 2:1
WHEREFORE laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speaking

But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation
My grandmother use to tell me long time ago, "baby if you can't say nothing nice about somebody, just don't say nothing at all". We as "Christians" should not be back biting, or whispering about anybody; but we all have been guilty of this.....I am sending a warning......YOU DON'T KNOW WHO GOD IS USING.....keep your mouth off of people.......PERIOD.
