God is calling for a separation

1 Corinthians 6:14, 16-18

14) Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

16) And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I WILL DWELL IN THEM, AND WALK IN THEM; AND I WILL BE THEIR GOD, AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE.*

17) Wherefore COME OUT FROM AMONG THEM, AND BE YE SEPARATE, saith the Lord, AND TOUCH NOT THE UNCLEAN THING; AND I WILL RECEIVE YOU,*

18) AND WILL BE A FATHER UNTO YOU, AND YE SHALL BE MY SONS AND DAUGHTERS, saith the Lord Almighty.

* A Christian should live a holy life that reflects the nature of God, who saved him. He/She should separate himself from actions, influences, or people that will contaminate him. (contaminate means to make impure or unclean) A Christian should apply the biblical principles of separation and avoid what is (1) against a biblical standard of purity (1 Cor. 6:17-20);(2 Cor. 10:4-5); (2) against a biblical prohibition (Ex. 20:3-17); (3) an association that will harm; (4) harmful to the body (1 Cor. 6:19); (5) harmful to a weaker brother (1 Cor. 8:8-13); (6) offensive to the conscience (James 4:17); or (7) failure to follow the example of Christ (1 Peter 2:21) The Corinthian church was an immature congregation, with problems in many areas, but victory was available through Christ (1 Cor. 15:57) *

*The "ministry of reconciliation" was motivated by fear of the Lord, energized by the "love of Christ" exemplified by the experience of Paul, and qualified by the promises of God*

God is calling for a separation of anything or anyone that will separate you from Christ. (Romans 8:35; Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword) A lot of times God will deliver us from things, and we will go back and try and "diddle and daddle" with that thing, and mess around and get an even stronger hold than before. When God delivers you and takes you out of mess, you do not entertain it or even go back to it. The word of God says, 2 Cor. 5:17; Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become a new. (when man comes into a vital union with the risen and glorified Lord, he is a "new creation" and perceives Christ in a new way.) Do not allow your natural man to take you back to a place where you were once in bondage. Walking with Christ means walking away from flesh. I do not know what the end looks like, but I have a mind made up to go all the way with God; and I have learned that many will be called by God, but only a few will answer the calling.

Much Love & Prayer

"I will not comprise the word of God; for God I live and for God I die"

" I WILL NOT COMPROMISE THE WORD OF GOD; FOR GOD I LIVE AND FOR GOD I DIE
