 | God loves the humble |

God loves humility. When I looked up humility it comes from the root word "humble" humble means: low in station, meek or modest in manner. Meek means submissive. Modest means virtuous, decent. Submissive means to yield and obey.......
When you are "humble" you obey and yield to what the Word of God says in everything not just in the things that you want to obey in but in everything. When you are "humble" you become that woman of virtue, you are decent and modest in not only the way you look but the conversation that comes out your mouth. When you are "humble" you realize it's not about you and it's all about God.
Psalm 138:6
Though the Lord be high, yet hath He respect unto the lowly: but the proud He knoweth afar off
Isaiah 57:15
For thus saith the high and lofty. One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
Proverbs 15:33
The fear of the LORD is the instruction of wisdom; and before honor is humility.

The word of God says we have not for we ask not....I encourage you to start asking God more than you tell Him, start asking God what does He want for you. Ask God to give you a humble spirit. You first must be broken. When you become broken you become tame to obedience. When you become broken you have a fear of God which is a reverence that you are aware He knows and sees everything; so you walk softer than ever before. When you become broken you know that it is not you but God that is holding you up and you know it is God that has not only delivered you out of the hands of the evil one, but it is God that keeps you in your right mind. When you are broken you have more compassion for others you can relate and feel another pain because you yourself have been there before. When you are broken it does not matter who is right all that matters is God is right. When you are broken you STOP worrying if you are liked or accepted because you know God loves you and He accepts you and all your flaws. When you come to God with a broken spirit you are not only saying Lord I need you to fix me, you are saying Lord I am lost without you. Broken is not a man or woman leaving you, broke is not when you don't have no more money. Because see you can find another man or woman, you can go get a job. But when you are broken in the spirit.....it is only God that can repair you.
Psalm 34:18
The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit...
Psalm 51:17
The sacrifices of the God are a broken spirit: a broken and contrite heart, O God thou wilt not despise.
Ask God to give you the cloth of humility.
