Joel 2:25
And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.
Have you ever looked at person, and they told you their age and you thought...they looked way younger? That's where God has turned their ashes into beauty.
I can speak for myself...I have lived a life for a woman twice my age...yet God has given me mercy and grace and allowed me to look and feel like a woman 10 years younger...
How you ask?
Philippians 3:14,15
I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
Let us therefore, as many be perfect, be thus minded: and if in anything ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.
The prize is the joyful personal satisfaction of having attained it, as well as the divine commendation and reward to be granted in heaven for having reached this goal on earth. The high calling of God is the divine summons extended to the believer for salvation.
Be thus minded literally means "let us think this" or "let us hold this opinion." Mature Christians must realize that they are not ethically perfect, but they tirelessly press onward for higher spiritual attainments. Mature Christians are those who can admit they are not perfect in any absolute sense. The apostle is telling the mature Christians here to hold on to this attitude, conceding that none has yet "spiritually arrived" but ever pressing toward further development.
And last but not least friends...
Galatians 6:9
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap. If we faint not
It is only a matter of time before God is going to show up and show out in our lives, He's going to restore back in to us everything that we put out in His name sake. God said we will "reap" which means we will receive our divine reward so continue to press toward the mark and stand in the gap, and pray without ceasing.....God is about to release His promises unto His people
