 | Just thank God |

PHILIPPIANS 4:11
Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
How often do you ask the Father for something, but do not be obedient to what He has asked of you? God knows where each and everyone of us are, but we continue to tell God where we want to be, instead of thanking Him we are no longer where we use to be. It's so easy to see someone else and think I want to be where that person is. Why not look at yourself and thank God where you are now. We do not take the time to thank God enough for the little things because we feel we deserve so much more. It is God's timing on when we will be blessed, and what He is going to bless us with. Some of us want to have lots of money, but can not manage a little bit of money; some of us want a bigger home, and can not keep the little home clean, some of us want to be a leader, and still do not know how to follow. It is so important that you learn to just "thank God" for whatever He has done for you, because He didn't have to do it. We have to get out of this mentality that God owes us something, because we have given our life to Him, have we really given our life to God? Do we love Him for what He can do for us, or for what He has already done? Think about it, you don't want to be around someone who's always just wanting to see what you are going to give them right? How do you think the Father feels? Just like the children of Israel they were going to get the Promise Land, they just needed to thank God, instead they complained, and murmured and look how long it took them. What is it that you are always murmuring and complaining about, and you still haven't been blessed? Have you ever took the time to figure out why? Just thank God for not what He will do, but for what He has already done. Do not give your life to Christ and still carry the world mentality.
