The Webster's dictionary defines peace as: inner contentment. We all know God is the only one who can give a true happiness and peace, and it's something that comes from within. Philippinas 4:7; "And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Jesus Christ". Only God can allow you to have peace in the eye of the storm. Peace is not something that you can get from a man, work, school,or success, peace is one of God's gift to us. The devil knows that he has no power so he tries and use things that are close and dear to us to cause us to loose focus on the peace that God has given us, but I challenge you to:

 Philippians 4:8-9

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and of there be any praise, think on these things. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

You have to make sure you are not a carrier; one who's always bringing bad news, one whose always talking negative.... tell the devil no more (God has given us a choice) you can either be of peace or hell, the outcome is yours, I choose to be of peace. Unless you have been there it's something to almost loose your mind, that's why God wants us to get in His word daily....because the enemy plays on the mind (as the battlefield) and he does not want you to have peace....he loves confusion, and mess. In order to keep God's peace we must occupy our mind with the right things and keep yourself busy with the right activities. When you are focused and driven towards God, and people come and try and deposit mess in you, it's because they desire to have that same peace, and share with them that God has no respector person. In this walk even with the ups and downs and pain, and disappointment, it's amazing how God will still give you PEACE from within....and people can't understand how you are doing it, and how strong you are; let me let you in on a secret it's not because we are so strong, it's because we are so weak that He's strong for us, and it's when you have a made up mind that you can say this:

Philippians 4:11

I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
