Often times because we haven't accepted who and what we are, we find it hard to accept anyone else. If you are insecure about your walk with Christ you won't be secure when someone else is confident about theirs. I bless God that this next topic has came because I have and STILL till this day deal with this topic and that is jealousy & envy in the house of God. Now I am sure we all can give our own definition of these two words, however so that we are on one accord let's go by the Webster's definition, jealousy is a feeling of envy or resentment, as of a more successful rival. envy is a feeling of mortification or discontent excited by seeing the superiority or prosperity of another person, ill will combined with jealousy. PAUSE......let us go to the Word of God:
Romans 13:13
Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.
1 Corinthians 3:3
For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?
When we act jealous you are basically saying you are not satisfied with what God has given you. It's time we address this jealous and envy spirit in the church instead of trying to pacify it and say let's just pray on that spirit....some things NEED to be confronted especially when you have labored with that spirit. I have learned that before you can deal with that jealous spirit you first have to discern what the root from that jealous spirit is. Often times it's fear, and insecurity; we are often insecure of that in which we don't understand. Deception is also a major root of jealousy we can perceive something that does not even exist simply because we do not practice "in our getting get and understanding". When we allow that jealous spirit to come up and we entertain it we also open the door for other spirits to enter like covetous....when you are jealous of your brother and sister it's because you want what they have and are not satisfied with what you have. My question is have you been through what that brother or sister has gone through? You don't know why God is blessing them the way He is. See we want the blessing but no one wants to labor, we want the anointing but no one wants to long suffer or go through, we want what someone else has because we see their glory but we do not know THE WHOLE Story. Often times people only share a little bit with you, because if they really told you what they went through you wouldn't truly believe them. It is the Father who promotes and demotes not man....It is God who elevates, it is God who calls, and qualifies, it's God who sets the standard. Instead of entertaining that jealous spirit take it up with the Father, because He is the one who created us. We can not get upset because someone has one talent and someone else has 5 talents Gods Word says;
Ephesians 4:7
But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ
*There is diversity within Christian unity; while the church is one, there is a variety of spiritual gifts within, given for the church's benefit. GRACE is a spiritual gift that EVERY ONE of us has been granted some spiritual capability to serve God and contribute to the Church's' growth. Jesus determines both what gift each believer is given and the amount {measure} of that gift. Two people can have the same gift, and one can have a greater amount than the other.*
It's time out for us not being real in the House of God but demanding that everyone be real. People want the truth their tired of preaching about prosperity but no one telling them how to get delivered, & healed and how to maintain it. We first have to start confessing our sin and yes jealousy and envy is sin it's not a characteristic of God, and this is why we renew our minds daily with the Word of God so we can tear down those strongholds that have been tolerated and sad to say accepted in the House of God for so long. Then you go to God in prayer and meditate on His word, asking him to remove anything that's in you that's not pleasing to Him. I am learning people want to change only that in what others see, but you are deceiving your own self because God sees all. It's time for the House of God to get right, division and strife is in the House of God because no one wants to fast and pray and seek Gods face on how to get it out. God's house was meant for healing, not for people to stay sick, nor was it meant for people to deliberately hurt each other. {we all are going to have to give an account one day for the good as well as the bad}. Those who are reading this, if you can identify with being jealous or envy of your sister or brother in Christ and you want to stop you know this is not the behavior of Christ I encourage you to go to God in prayer and mediate on these scriptures.....Psalm 13:5-6; 143:8; 27:10; 145:18, 1 Samuel 27:10, I John 4:18, Romans 8:15, Isiah 45:19, 48:17 Galatians 6:4-5

*Everybody in the house of God is not there for the same reason {being real is all I know how to be}....we have to pray and seek Gods face and try the spirit by the spirit, you will know Gods tree by the fruit it produce we have to discern what is Christ and what is the devil. Often time the enemy gets us off focus because while you are trying to figure out why this person don't like you and is not receiving you, it is a trick from the enemy to get you off the path of Christ, because we allow what we feel oppose to what we know; we are rejected by man but accepted by Christ.*
