We are always reminding God what we are going through; but how often do we remember where we came from. Keep your mind on God, do not let the enemy trick you. Thank You Lord for giving me my right mind; Thank You Lord that I was once lost but now I am found. Thank You Lord for forgiving my short comings; Thank You Lord for strengthen me through my storms; Thank You Lord for choosing me; Thank You Lord for my trials and tribulations, Thank You Lord for setting me free; Thank You Lord for filling my womb with Your love, Thank You Lord for the healing in my body, Thank You Lord for my husband and son; Thank You Lord for taking the time to make me; Thank You Lord for loving me. It's our praise that the enemy wants, because he knows that as soon as our praises go up..blessings come down. God showed me how quickly the enemy will try and make us focus on the small, and not give God the praises that are due onto Him. Stop telling God how big your storm is and start telling your storm how BIG your God is. God says He will never leave us nor forsake us; God in not like man, He will not lie. When God was taking the people through the wilderness He just wanted them to acknowledge the goodness of the Lord; He took them from one place and put them into another, and all they had to do was humble them selves before the Lord. Just because we may not know what our next destination is does not mean we stop thinking about the goodness of the Lord. If I had a thousand tongues I could not thank Him enough. I just thank the Lord for saving me when He did; He saved me from myself. I have so many saints that get so far and then stop because they focus more on the past than the present and the future. Do not allow yourself to put energy into something you have no control over. Just think on where you were, just think on who you were, just think how God saved you, and think about the goodness of the Lord. What about that marriage that everyone said would not last, think on the goodness of God, what about that child that everyone gave up on, think on the goodness of God, What about the times when you were living paycheck to paycheck, think on the goodness of God, what about your body and the doctor's report, think on the goodness of God. We have so much to think on that we should praise Him all the time. Jesus gave His life for us; we won't give our life let alone our time. Help us Lord to remember our first love, help us Lord to go back to the time that all we could think about was the goodness of the Lord. You do not want to get this far and miss God. Being saved is not about quoting scriptures, and dressing the part, being saved is keeping yourself humble before the Lord, and reminding yourself daily that if it had not been for the Lord, where would I be.

Psalm 92:1-2

It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O Most High: To show forth thy loving-kindness in the morning and thy faithfulness every night.

Psalm 100:4

Enter into the gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name
