If my people, which are called by My name,
shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek
my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then
will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin,
and will heal their land.
{2 CHRONICLES 7:14}
If we would stop thinking we know what' best for us, and fall on our face and seek God's face, we would not be going through a lot of the things we are going through. It was suppose to take them 11 days to go through their wilderness and it took them 40 years to get to the Promise Land. How many are still going through the same wilderness, that you should have been through by now? Is pride working in you, this is a self check question, between you and God. When you become humble your feelings, and ideas, and intellect does not matter anymore, it's all about what God is saying. Some of us refuse to get there and allow God to finish the work that He has started in us. They are talking about me, humble yourself God hears them; they keep hurting me, humble your self God sees them, God sits up high for a reason, so that He can see everything and everyone; and God sees you, humble yourself in the sight of the LORD, stop trying to be right, and ask God to help you get right, it's not about you, it's about Him, when you turn away from wickedness and evil, do not become a pillar of salt like Lot's wife, keep going forward, and trust God. Yes sometimes it seems like life is unfair, and yes sometimes it seems like nothing is going right, but GOD is yet in control, He already knew what was going to happen to you. This is a cry out to the body of Christ; He said, "if my people..." . Remember that obedience is better than sacrifice. Is your feelings and opinion that important, that you do not take heed to the command of God. Humble yourselves, and walk softly, and watch God turn those crooked places straight...humble yourself...before the LORD.
When you walk in humility you walk with God, not in front of Him.
