We have to be so very careful and guard our mind and stop allowing our flesh to wonder off and think about things that are not godly. When you start thinking about certain things you feel there's no harm, but honey it is, because now you have planted  a seed, and from time to time you will allow yourself to entertain that seed and think some more, so now you are watering that seed, by allowing yourself to think on it. It will only be a matter of time before you do that in which you think. This is how envious and jealously creeps up in the heart. Instead of you being happy for someone you start thinking about yourself (selfish) wondering why that person is being blessed and not you, before you know it, you have created your own conclusion on why you feel you should be the one having that instead of the person. See we use that scripture to loosely and I am paraphrasing, God is no respecter person if He did it for me, He will do it for you. I stopped by to tell you, true God has no favorites He loves us all the same, but some of us have found favor with Him like Hannah and are being blessed with double for our trouble. You can not ask for what I am being blessed with, until you are ready through to go through what I went through to get my blessings. You see the glory, but you have no idea of  my story. Oh somebody better here me please, we want the anointing, we want the money, we want the favor of God, but  we don't want to go through what the person had to go through to get the blessing? See when a person is about to give a testimony are you really happy for them, or are you going through the emotions of pretending you are happy? Do you say God is good and you deserve it, or do you say well I know if God is giving it to you He will do the same for me? There's nothing wrong with holding on to a person's testimony especially if it's one that you asked God for, all I am saying is make sure your heart and thoughts are pure. Even if the person does not know if you are sincere or not, God does. Make sure when you rejoice with your brother or sista there's no hidden agenda or motive behind you. It's a shame that we can not share the goodness of the Lord with one another without someone feeling the need to rain on your parade. When God tells us to put the whole armor of God on, one of the pieces of armor is the helmet of salvation (Ephesians 6) Cover your mind in the blood, it's not something that is suggested it's something that is needed. What is on your mind?

For the rest, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is worthy of reverence and is honorable and seemly, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely and lovable, whatever is kind and winsome  and gracious, if there is any virtue and excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think on and weigh and take account of these things (fix your minds on them).
